Macromolecular Engineering With Living Isobutylene Polymerization: Applications and Opportunities
Many years of research on isobutylene polymerizations by many researchers at The University of Akron and various industrial organizations led to a great variety of products, i.e., medical devices, thermoplastic elastomers, sealants and others, that revolutionized interventional cardiology and ophthalmology and significantly improved the quality of life in other areas. This is their story.
Invention, Innovation, Creativity
Professor Kennedy will summarize some sections in his book “How to Invent and Protect Your Invention”, a text used for years to broaden the horizons of science and engineering students at The University of Akron.
